UTBA was founded for the benefit of owner-operators and employees in the trucking industry. We provide low-cost benefits and services to individuals and groups in the trucking industry.

Capitol Group was founded in 1983 and Universal Trucking Benefits Association was formed when Capitol Group purchased an existing association, formed in 1987, and the name and focus changed to the trucking industry. The leadership of the company has 50 years experience in developing the appropriate product mix for valued employees and key owner/operator drivers.
